Hi Fin Families,

A few reminders for today/tomorrow:

• No practice this afternoon, Mock meet for the new (and potentially nervous) 5:30pm

Meet 1:  Tomorrow Wednesday, June 3rd, 6pm start

Location:16238 Pouncey Tract Rd. Rockville, VA 23146

Meet Schedule: 

4:45-5:15 PM Check-in (right inside gated entrance to the pool at the white picnic tables)

5:00-5:25 PM Rockville/Dolphin Club warm-ups

5:25-5:50 PM Away team warm-ups

5:30 PM Timers meeting

5:45 PM Officials meeting

6:00 PM Competition begins

Parking:

There is plenty of parking for families in the lot and near the pool and back toward the tennis courts. 

There will be overflow parking in the field in front of the center but we ask that families pay close attention to the roped off areas in this field and only park in the designated areas. Cars parked in the roped off area will be asked to move as this is where our septic is located.

Seating:

Seating for the away team is located behind the blocks and ropes on the concrete and outside of the pool fence on the basketball court. 

Diving Certifications and Marks

Coaches will be marking swimmers during Tuesday night or Wednesday morning practices to indicate whether your swimmer can dive or not. Swimmers marked with an O must dive in from the side, and those marked with an X must start in the water. If your swimmer is not marked, they are clear to dive off the blocks. If the mark starts to fade before the meet, we kindly ask parents to trace over it. If your swimmer missed practice or you are unsure the check-in table will have a sheet to assign the correct mark.

P.S. New Fams-bring food/snacks, chairs, extra towels, games, sharpies and umbrellas for shade.

P.S.S. swimmers in team suits (or blue, green and/or black) with Fox Hall Fins spirit wear!
