Champs
Any swimmer who achieves a junior varsity, varsity or senior varsity time during the summer swim season is eligible to compete at the Greater Richmond Aquatic League (GRAL) Championship Meet.
This meet will be held on July 19th and 20th at the Collegiate Aquatic Center. Coaches will notify swimmers of eligibility, and those swimmers will continue to practice until the Champs meet. Participation in this meet is not mandatory, but all eligible swimmers are encouraged to compete.
GRAL charges a small fee per event for each swimmer attending champs. This fee is the responsibility of the swimmers and will be collected prior to the Champs meet. Also, all swim teams will be assigned specific responsibilities for the meet, such as ribbon writing, timers, or heat sheet/T-shirts sales. Therefore, please note that each family attending Champs will be expected to volunteer. Specific duties for Fox Hall will be determined at a later date.
