Hi Swim Team Families,

As we get ready for an exciting swim season, we are asking all families to volunteer to make our meets and events run smoothly. Our swim team depends on the support of our amazing families, and each family is required to complete 6 volunteer shifts throughout the season. If you are hiring a teenager to fill your shift, this must be documented in SwimTopia with their name, age, and phone number. Please note there are some roles with age requirements that some teenagers will not be eligible to fill.

Shift assignments will close on Friday before each meet in order to prepare and ensure coverage. If you are unable to keep your position, please make every effort to find a replacement and let me know who will be covering your shifts.

Volunteer roles for meets include (*must be GRAL certified):

• Head Timer (must be 18yo)
• Timers (must be 18yo)
• Announcers (must be 18yo)
• Clerk of Course*
• Assistant Clerk of Course (must be 18yo)
• Setup (must be 14yo)
• Pre Meet Concessions (must be 14yo)
• Concessions (must be 14yo)
• Starter*
• Head Table Worker*
• Referee*
• Runner (must be 14yo)
• Strokes and Turns*
• Parent Rep*
• Meet Director*
• Computer Chair*

There are many opportunities available throughout the season, and volunteering is a great way to support our swimmers and help create a fun and successful experience for everyone!

You can sign up for your 6 required shifts through SwimTopia beginning at 8:00am on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
