First Day of Practice!
Hi Fins!
We are excited to kick off the 2025 season with our first practice on Wednesday! Looking at the weather and taking into account the pool temperature, practice on Wednesday, May 14th will consist of dryland and team building activities. Please have your swimmers wear workout clothes, sneakers, and make sure to bring a water bottle. We will continue to monitor the pool temperature throughout the week and communicate any practice changes with you via email and SwimTopia. Be sure to download the SwimTopia app for up to date info. Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding as we navigate the early start to the season. I promise we will get the kids in the water as soon as we can!
Meet your 2025 Fins Coaching Staff!
Cheslyn Swanson: Head Coach
My name is Cheslyn, and I am thrilled to coach my first season at Fox Hall this summer! I am a freshman at Virginia Tech, where I am majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in psychology. Swimming has been a passion of mine since I was 6, being a part of GRAL as a swimmer for 13 years and a coach for 5. When I am not in the pool, you can find me babysitting, playing violin, creating something, or spending time with friends at a coffee shop. I am so excited and looking forward to coaching this season!
I am a freshman at James Madison University studying Sports and Recreation Management with a minor in general business and currently I am an intern for JMU football recruiting. I swam for Fox Hall for 12 years and am excited to be back as a coach again this summer!
Hi! I’m Mary Caroline, and I’m currently a junior at Deep Run High School! I have swam every summer since I was 4 for Fox Hall and CCV! Other than swimming, I like to play basketball for my school and on my travel team! I’m looking forward to this upcoming summer swim season!
Hi guys my names is Paxton Crank and I’m thrilled to be your coach this year. This is my 10th season as a swimmer and first year as a coach. I can’t wait to get to know each and every one of you guys. I hope this is an exciting year and yall have lots of fun.
If you have any questions for the coaches throughout the season, please send an email to [email protected]
See you all at the pool!
